Eco Hostel “Republic” is situated in Uzice, just 5 minutes-walk from the Main Street and ten minutes-walk from the central bus station. The Hostel has 30 beds in private rooms and dormitories, private parking, free Wi-Fi, and free hot beverages for guests.
All the furniture is hand-made and the whole theme of the Hostel is famous period of “Uzice’s Republic”.
The offer is diverse as well as the quests who have visited Uzice since the Hostel’s opening. So far there have been guests from over 70 countries and their impressions reflect the quality of service and a host approach towards each guest.
The Hostel uses the renewable energy resources, water-saving showers, power-saving lightning and bio-degradable cleaning products which protects the environment.
The Hostel does the primary waste selection, that after goes to regional landfill. Informative hostel materials have the function of raising the ecological awareness with guests and they should show the significance of the support to local economy by buying domestic products, by using public transport and by helping the community. The orientation of the business philosophy towards environment protection and raising the ecological awareness is supposed to motivate the local community to act responsible to its surrounding.
